Claremont EDA

The Claremont Economic Development Authority was created by the City Council under Minnesota State Statue 469.  The main goals of the EDA are to help strengthen our community's businesses, partner with community organizations and attract new businesses to the City of Claremont.

The EDA is a 5 member board which includes elected officials.  The board typically holds meetings at City Hall as needed.  All EDA meetings are open to the public.

 

Claremont Façade Improvement Program

The Façade Improvement Program is established to enhance the appearance of downtown buildings and the streetscape. Matching grants up to $2,500 are available to Claremont businesses and commercial properties for eligible projects. Call City Hall for more information.

Claremont EDA Revolving Loan Program

The overall goal for the Claremont Economic Development Authority’s Revolving Loan Program is to stimulate Claremont’s economy by providing low interest loans to small and medium sized businesses.
