Public Sewer Inspections

Claremont has recently adopted Ordinance Section 3.02, Subd. C, Paragraph 6 pertaining to public sewer inspections.  The ordinance requires that an inspection be conducted by Claremont's Maintenance Workers or a certification from a licensed plumber to confirm that a prohibited connection to the sanitary sewer does not exist before real estate may be conveyed; a conveyance of real estate located within the city shall not be recordable without an inspection or certification.
