Sewer Lines

The Maintenance Department has noticed there is an increase in "flushable" wipes, diapers, baby wipes, feminine products, EVEN plastic bags, towels, etc. being flushed by residents.  Please DO NOT FLUSH CLEANING WIPES or anything other than toilet paper down the toilet.  Throw them in the trash.  These items do not dissolve like toilet paper.  The products can plug up your sewer line, then the lift stations and pumps at the wastewater facility.  Just recently a pump needed to be fixed due to this issue and is costing over $3,000 to fix.  That is your tax money.  Please spread the word.   Even if the products say flushable-they are not.
